Hey... why not? There's been a thread for pretty much everything else lately.

I love wine, but I am not a snob about it at all. Cheap wine, expensive wine, red, white, rose, it's all good to me. Except Arbor Mist. That's swill.

And for all you MD peeps here, VA wine country (Loudon Co, Fauquier Co) is excellent....a nice day trip or weekend getaway for you and your special someone. It's beautiful down there and the wine is really, really good although it varies on where you go. Hit me up if you want recommendations.

So I've been into Zinfandels lately although I haven't had much red wine in the last few months. been drinking more white as the weather warmed up.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

I've been trying to explore Pinot more, but it's so hard to find a good one that's affordable.  I prefer the taste of red wine, generally speaking.

Chalone makes a pretty good pinot that is affordable...less than $30 typically, and usually around $20.

The Niagara wine region just over the border in Canada is really, really good.
