Some of my friends, coworkers -- hell, even my boss, like to tease me because I'm a bit of a fanatic. I guess in their minds it's not really a "guy thing," but I love it.

My wife and I have numerous gardens around on our property, including around half of our house, both back sheds, coming up the driveway, etc. There's just something so amazingly soothing about working outside, even if it's just planting or weeding.

Any other gardeners out there? Both men and women are welcome to share their experiences. :)

I've got a city rowhome, so no ground to plant.

We try to do herbs and cherry tomatoes and maybe a couple other things in pots, but I don't have a hose out back and watering everything with a small watering can gets to be a big pain in the ass, especially once mid-summer rolls around.  So most everything dies by the end of July save for a few hardy herbs (mint, in particular, is apparently immortal).

Is there anything you DON'T do?  You and NMS could start your own television show.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

I no longer exercise, so I've got plenty of time!
