Pomeranz coming up and pitching well is great. I'd love to rely more on guys like him and Berken, maybe bring up Bergesen and move some of our other guys (Gregg, Lindstrom, O'Day, etc)

If you can move Lindstrom and O'Day for value (trading high), I'd think about that. However, I doubt they command a ton. Even when they regress, not sure they aren't still better than Berken and Bergesen. (Though I do think both of them are capable of being multi-inning relievers when going well.)

Texas is using him like we all hoped he could be used with the O's. Before he got to Norfolk, I was pretty hopeful for him. He had hit in the AFL, HWL, Carolina, and Eastern Leagues. Norfolk was tough.
Good for him, for making something out of this opportunity.
Berken is not making the most of his opportunity.

Yeah I always believed in Brandon, he reminded me of a young Youkilis (having seen him at AA too), I really think Norfolk just isn't a good place for our AAA team. The area SUCKS if you've ever been there, I wouldn't want to play there. I rally feel like that place has a negative impact on every prospect we have. Sounds stupid and reactionary, but I just really don't like that Norfolk/Hampton/VA Beach area. It's a hotbed for talent, but it's not a great place to spend a season IMO.

It is 8:19 AM (12 hours different). The game is on Chinese ESPN, wasn't sure if it was on a delay or not.
This is fantastic. Watching it from my hotel room in Shanghai.
That's awesome, Jeff! Glad you got to catch the game, even though this one wasn't too good.
