The bad news, we only forced Bucholz to throw 9 pitches... the good news, he's not fooling anyone. There were 4 well hit balls that inning, one of which ended up in the Monster seats.

Yep, need to come right back in the 2nd and get to him again.

Wieters bad throw, but still guns Pedroia out on the attempted steal. Hunter with 10 pitches in the 1st.

Well, he was charging to bare hand it to rush a throw to first. I wouldn't call it a "botch", per se, he really didn't have a play here, IMO.

Did you think Reynolds gets him if he comes up with it cleanly? Thought he was going to be safe either way.

Probably true. I only got one look at it. Not a big deal though with Pedroia trying to steal 2nd.

OT: Twins with 9 hits in last 4 games.

They really are historically horrific on offense.

You'd love to at least work CB's pitch count here.

Pretty amazing. One thing I got really wrong was Nishioka. I thought he would be serviceable at a minimum.

Yep, no doubt about that. Johnson with his 1st ab after back to back 2 hit games. K's, with a fastball outside. 2 out.
