Fargo is streaming on Netflix and Amazon Prime. I don't really have an excuse to continue not seeing it, do I? :P

All the ones I've watched on FX have been hits...The Shield, Justified, The Americans.

Which shows are misses?
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Always Sunny is great and The Bridge wasn't bad either.

Their dramas are pretty solid. I'll be checking out Fargo for sure.

Always Sunny is great.

That's the kind of show that you really need to be on the same wavelength with the writers. I've watched some bits and pieces over the years and never found it that funny, but I know a lot of people absolutely love it. I certainly wouldn't call it a miss; it's one of the biggest hits for that channel.

Terriers. The Riches. Wilfred. Anger Management. Louie. Legit. Which I hate that I dont like because I like both Louis CK and Jim Jeffries. My fiance watches American Horror Story so ive seen a little and dont care for it.

I liked The Americans, The Shield, Rescue Me except for the last two seasons. Archer. The League. Haven't seen Justified or SOA yet but have heard good things.

I'd say it's probably a 50/50 split between good and bad from them.

Those aren't "misses" for the channel, necessarily. Even The Riches ran two seasons. Only Terriers in that list didn't get renewed. You just don't like them. Again, there's a difference.

I despise The Big Bang Theory, but I would have no ground to stand on if I called it a "miss" for CBS.

I can see that. It dipped for a season or two but the last one was great.

I don't think you can call Louie a miss even if you don't like it. I saw the first season but didn't like it enough to catch up. Maybe one day.

Good point. I didn't mean to be so literal with the term misses. Just some shows I like and some shows I absolutely dont.

I enjoy Wilfred and Louie. I'd agree with the sentiment that most of those shows haven't been misses. Misses don't usually get renewed. FX has actually been really solid over the last few years with their overall output.

FX is an extremely interesting channel. I'd say of all the current channels showing original, fictional programming they have the best shot of becoming on par with the five networks. Other channels are airing good shows (AMC and HBO, obviously, USA, TBS and TNT, Showtime, and several others), but FX is the only one that has managed to build a market for both drama and comedy. Just as important, it is the only one that has built a specific identity for both their dramas and comedies.

Remember when all they had was Son of the Beach?

So I just discovered this show's existence yesterday -- is it a continuation of the film?  Running along parallel?  Just based on the movie or inspired by it?  Do the Coens have any part in it?

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

They are producers I believe. It's supposed to be in the spirit of the film but along the lines of True Detective and American Horror Story as a different story each season.
