I like Meyers, and think he's had a good initial launch.
The desk seems a bit awkward though. Interesting seeing Fred Armisen as the band leader...would think with Armisen's background (SNL, Portlandia) that he will be involved in bits going forward.

I always liked Meyers om SNL in the Weekend Update role. I haven't watched his latenight show. I doubt he can top Fallon.

Not to take anything away from Meyers, but that's because Letterman has never been funny as long as Ive been watching late night TV. Literally nothing about his show is comical thats supposed to be.

Letterman has been mailing it in for a while, but he has the advantage of being a well-established host at an earlier time slot. At the same time, you could argue Meyers benefits from the Fallon lead-in.
