LOL, listened to this yesterday. What an ass clown. Enjoyed it though, dude's pretty funny. Not sure why he thinks Americans need to give a damn about speed skating.

He's right.

What he's saying is logical - but priorities and entertainment values are different in America - there's nothing wrong with that.

I love football just like everyone else but from a logical standpoint it is quite stupid.

I actually think he's right about a lot of it as well.  I've said for a long time that while I don't have much issue with the sport of football itself, I think the obssession many Americans have with it is a bit silly.  But the Americans still have more medals than the dutch, so his whole premise really doesn't make any sense.

The Dutch won like all their medals in speedskating.

So what we have here is someone from a country that steers its best athletes into a particular sport, seemingly for the purpose of cleaning up in Olympic medal counts (from his point of view at least), criticizing another country that steers its best athletes into different sports. Sounds pretty hypocritical. When the Speedskating Super Bowl is being broadcast worldwide from Amsterdam, be sure and wake me up so I don't miss all the fun....

....on second thought, let me sleep.
