Matusz looks good. Not incredible or anything, but he looks to be in control, whereas at other times he looked lost out there.

In '10, his swinging strike % was 8.0... entered tonight at 7.3.
In '10, he had a 4.05 FIP over 175 ip... if he has great control, he can be a 2. If he has his '10 control, he should be able to replicate those numbers.

Anytime the batter starts to move to 1st, before the pitch is called... the umpire always calls a strike if it is within reason.
