Do you agree with Wojnarowski? I tend to. I think even if New Orleans wound up with a better trade with the Clippers, than they would have had in the rejected 3 team trade; you don't want the league itself making those decisions. Of course everything with NO is complicated with the league owning that team.

What do you think about the Clippers now that the trade has been made?

1) Paul, M. Williams
2) Billups, Foye
3) Butler, Gomes
4) Griffin
5) D. Jordan, Cook

I was going to start a Clippers thread, but realized this is just as good.

Let me say, I love how they have constructed this roster. I was a little skeptical when they said they were going to play Billups at the 2, but I think it's worked very well. He's a good enough perimeter shooter and I don't think it ever hurts to have two guys on the court that are exception ball handlers.

Caron has been a real X factor. You know Blake's going to be great, you know CP3 is going to be great, but Caron has really stepped up his play. With the way he's playing, they have 4 guys starting who are very capable of scoring the basketball and creating their own shot.

Mo Williams is perfect off the bench, in that he can come in, get his shots against the other teams reserves, and basically be the 2nd line offense. DeAndre is a good fit as the 5 with the other 4 starters as well. They also have Reggie Evans, who is the best rebounder I've ever seen. He won't contribute a thing offensively, but he'll get you plenty of 2nd chance opportunities on the offensive glass.

I like watching this team a lot. The game a few days ago that they played against the Lakers was awesome. Incredible environment with the Clippers and Lakers fans going back and forth, things getting a little chippy between the players, and plenty of quality basketball. This is just a really easy team for me to like.

The Clippers have lots of talent and they are flashy but they aren't really a team yet. Even though they've had success early, there is way too much standing around and jump shots on offense considering the young talent they have.

One negative is that Billups is basically wasted at the 2 IMO. He's great to fill in for Paul when he needs a rest or when he's hurt but Billups is not a guy who can create his own shot or who is used to coming off screens and then shooting a jumper.

He's a PG..Not a 2. In fact I'd say the Clips would be better with Mo Williams starting at the 2 when healthy because he's more of a dynamic, shot-creating offensive player than Chauncey.

When Billups is playing with Paul, they don't need him to create many of his own shots. His main role is to spread the floor and hit some 3's while being another good ball handler and passer on the court. CP3 can create shots for himself and the rest of the team as well as anyone. I think the problem with Chauncey at the 2 is when they play teams with really good offensive 2's.

I think they'll win their division if healthy.
