Really disgusted with those in bold. Whether its Morris getting way too many votes or everyone else not getting enough, its sad.

Congrats to Maddox and Glavine and Thomas. All three deserve to get in.
I remember when Blyleven finished with 74-something percent of the vote. That's just too close. Probably should round up
Morris now becomes the second player to receive 60-plus percent of the vote and not be elected, after Gil Hodges--who has a very similar argument to the Morris one that the writers have tried to push.
BBWAA website crashed. That just about says it all about that organization right there.
The next year is going to be fun.

Not surprised Moose missed, surprised he only got 20%. Also would've thought Schilling would get more.

Three voters have already tweeted Keith Law saying they only didn't vote for Biggio because they didn't have the space.

I mean I could rant and rave, but what's the point? It's a good old boy system controlled by the good old boys.
It's like the Tax Code and other laws. They won't re-write it because the only people that can are the attorneys that make money to understand it.

This year, 50% of BBWAA voters used all 10 ballot spots, up from 22% last year. Look for BBWAA to recommend larger ballot.

Bagwell went down from last year. I gotta think that's just because of the crowded ballot, as he went up from 48.2 to 56.0 to 59.6. I think he eventually gets in, but think the similarly crowded class in 2015 will keep him out for at least another year.
Piazza starting at 57.8% also likely will get in as people move past the steroid nonsense, at least for the guys who never had any real suspicions. Doubt it'll be next year, though.
Shame that Raines will likely never get in. He's a guy that definitely should be there.

They need to publicize the votes -- that would be huge.

BBWAA will eventually put it up like they did last year: http://bbwaa.com/13-hof-ballots/
Voters aren't forced to come forward, but a lot will.

I just like to see every voter defend their ballot. Unless the case is egregious, I'm not going to call for the revocation of their credentials as you can find faults with many of the voters. I just would like more transparency.

According to Baseball Think Factory, Nearly 37% of ballots were made public in some form before the voting was announced: http://www.baseballt...ollecting_gizmo
