Just go ahead and hand Ohio State the next 2 or 3 Big Ten Championships and pencil them in for the playoff. No one in the conference is touching that team until Harbaugh gets things rolling at Michigan....and maybe not even then.

Great... not only did OhowIhateohio State win (they deserved it, dammit), but the postgame has Herbstreit being vacuous with both Tebow and Mack Brown... 3 of my least favorite college football people, all at once... this day hasn't turned out the way I hoped...

Dunno if it mattered, maybe not, but the rules gave OhowIhateohio State more time to practice than Oregon was allowed...

Very little, if at all. Oregon was dominated physically in the trenches, and I don't think some extra practice time would have changed that. Also, that rule works both ways....because U of O runs on the quarterly system, classes for the fall usually begin in late September. So that means that for the first several weeks of the season Ducks players aren't spending time in classes/study halls, and their sole focus can be on football. Which might be an edge when they have a tough early OOC game, like Michigan State this season.
