Zach Britton threw 17 pitches and had three swinging strikeouts around a broken bat infield single in his inning of work for Frederick. Fastball 92-94. Six swinging strikes on sinker and one on slider. #Orioles

Trade him already

He's the one guy I would not trade right now. I think he can bring much more toward the deadline when teams have a chance to see how healthy he is. Certainly some risk but I think the upside is much greater to wait.

He's going to need to be injury free and effective for a few weeks before you can deal him for any value.

Zack Britton will not travel up north with the team; will remain in the Tampa area rehabbing for a few months. Told me the next few months will be critical in his rehab in his hope to return at some point at the end of the season.

From 2014-2017, he was the best closer in MLB.

I  don't quite remember but there was a game in the midst of one of his dominant runs (consecutive games without a blown save or maybe allowing a run) and to keep the streak growing required one of the out fielders throwing out a guy at the plate.

Articles talk about his great 2016 season.

His 2016 season was the best Relief Pitcher season (803 ERA+) of All-Time.
