In a piece for Forbes.com, I argued that MLS might actually have a better shot than ever at Concacaf Champions League success this year.
It's early days, but after Leg 1 of the Round of 16, every MLS team is in a favorable spot.
Do we think the gulf in class between MLS and LigaMX is still too big? Or will MLS eventually find away to break through occasionally, even if it still remains a bit behind its Southern neighbors in overall league quality? Who do you think is the most likely MLS team to break through in 2021? For me, it's ATL or PHI, since they would not have to play a Mexican team until the semis -- in August.

Really good stuff Ian. The deck has been stacked against MLS teams historically but agree that the schedule this year certainly gives MLS sides a better shot.
