Yep...just wish they gave you more for your money...at least that was my experience with what I got.Thames Street Oyster House is very good.
I still say Capitol Grille is the best restaurant I have been to in BMore.

Went to Ouzo Bay last night for my wife's birthday...excellent. Had the charcoal cooked whole dorade.
Also went to "that speakeasy bar in Remington". Cool spot, very hipster-ish.

Hell yeah, it's great. Love the varieties of oysters.
I've never gotten an entree there, but their MD crab and short rib soup is the best soup I've ever had (helps that I absolutely love both MD crab soup and braised short ribs, so a bit biased, if they worked a peach pie into the thing I don't know what I'd do).

Recently went to Grille620 at the Turf Valley Town Center... Enjoyed it.

Only cool on weeknights. Weekends are a nightmare. Like every MICA kid in the city trying to pack in there. I can't take it. But they do make some exceptional cocktails if you don't mind the pricetag.

Two cocktails for $17 isn't bad. Got out of there for $21.
$14 is the going rate for a cocktail in Manhattan.

Add this to the list of reasons I'm happy in Baltimore haha

And the drinks in NYC are basically a shot poured over a large ice cube.

Not the level of quality of recent restaurants discussed here, but Shake Shack's on its way: http://www.bizjourna...att-street.html

I've been to the one in DC, I like it. I know it's not universally loved.

I liked it as well. The burger wasn't anything special (I admittedly got a pretty basic burger) but the shake was great.
I liked the concretes. I would never go at Nats Park, moreso because of the lines. They also jack-up the prices and I like more "traditional" ballpark food. I know the Mets have a similar set-up but I haven't been to Citi.

Shake Shack is a very solid quick burger place. Fries kinda suck, but the burger is good, on par with Five Guys (though their fresh cut, and correctly cooked fries are a mile better), but not as good as In 'N Out (my favorite fast burger). Their shakes are really good, which is the main attraction, IMO.

I've eaten at...one of those places. And it wasn't even the "flagship".

Have been to:
1) Charleston
6) Woodberry Kitchen
8) Linwood's
9) Petit Louis Bistro
11) Cinghiale
13) Ouzo Bay
34) Pazo
44) Aida Bistro
PABU is the place I'd like to get to next.
