I'll be attending this game live as part of an extended vacation in New England this weekend and looking forward to it (anyone with nothing to do, ticket prices are laughably low on StubHub).
Anyway, MD kicks off it's final year in the ACC tomorrow with an early winnable game. That said, I fully expect them to collapse on the road and start the conference season out 0-1.
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

Wow, a conference game already? Is that just because of the new 15-team format or is this how the conference has been forming their schedules? I haven't followed the ACC closely in several years.

Returned their starting 5, great FT shooting team, good 3 point shooting team...
3-6 overall... wins vs. Florida Atlantic, Washington, Sacred Heart... losses vs. Providence, UMass, Toledo, UConn, Purdue, USC.

I mentioned this in another thread, not a big fan of this. Kind of reminds me of when teams play an international game in MLB then play a week of regular season games. I think once you're in conference mode, you should stay in conference mode. Although, I don't mind the mid-February weeknight games against some school I've never heard in middle of nowhere in Virginia.

Gotta keep Olivier Hanlan in check. In light of that and following the same train of thought as Pedro's post, I fully expect him to get about 20 open looks for 3.

I like the move by Turgeon to start Peters. This offense needs a true PG and to let Wells play a more natural position.
