Still think I'm missing a lot of it, but this little exchange was great...

If I thought anyone actually respected Nestor's viewpoints on anything O's related, this would be a lot more entertaining.  The fact is he's ruined his credibility and any chance at appearing unbiased based on his behavior all these years so even if/when he does say something true and factual, everyone will take it with a grain of salt.

And I actually agree with Nestor - there's a difference between what Roch is allowed to write and what he thinks and knows about the team. 

They've gotten into before.

 

I like Roch and I know I've mentioned this before, but he was the first to say, he wouldn't be criticizing Angelos, when he took the MASN job.

 

Nestor's made the point before, he's beating a dead horse here. I think he needs to let things go.

 

I do agree it's entertaining.

 

I doubt they exchanged Christmas cards this year.

Roch needs thicker skin.

I've only seen bits and pieces of this -- but I do think Roch needs to defend himself. As much as people like to discredit Nestor, he's still has a "voice" in Baltimore.

Just reading this...  considered jumping in, and bit my tongue.

Partly because I don't have time right now, partly because it is Christmas Eve, and partly because the timing isn't quite right....

 

I will be biting my tongue less in 2014....  that guy makes my blood boil... he's a clown.

Know from experience, that on one hand Roch does need some thicker skin on his blog.

Or he at least needs to understand that since Big Pete rarely, if at all, makes himself available to Joe-average-fan, that most fans will take out their anger at ownership at the next best thing, that usually being a random blogger (Roch or Steve) on the Big Pete owned site of MASN.

Not that it's fair, but that's just how it is.

Basically Jen Royle syndrome. Public figures need to realize fair or unfair, they are going to be subjected to more than most people. If you choose to be a journalist, you'll be subjected to more than most. Just comes with the territory.

I despise how NST and its mouthpieces try to divide the Baltimore fans. Heaven forbid Baltimore fans support the O's and Ravens and have the same passion for each team.
