What I listen to:
Bill Simmons, The Lowe Post, Revisionist History, House of Carbs, Black on the Air with Larry Wilmore, Pod Save America (and occasionally some of that groups other pods), the SI MEDIA Media Podcast, Dunc'd on Basket ball, WTF, and The Complete Guide to Everything.

I also want to check out the Origins pod with James Andrew Miller about Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Baseball Today was such a good podcast. I was upset when it was gone, even though that was like 4 years ago.

Political/Social:

Black on the Air

Pod Save America (and the rest of the Pod Save... Universe)

On One with Angela Rye

Wrestling:

Cheap Heat

The Masked Man Show

Wrasslecast

Straight Shoot

Other:

Talking Simpsons, which is a deep dive into EVERY episode of The Simpsons, from the beginning. It's amazing.

The Tony Kornheiser Podcast

This American Life

Pretty much anything on The Ringer

Joe Sheehan has a new podcast, based around his newsletter, called, creatively enough, the Sheehan Newsletter podcast. It's about 15 minutes every day, and he says his plan is to continue it daily through the postseason into the offseason (and hopefully beyond).

BUMP

I've been listening to Cold as of late. It's a podcast detailing the disappearance (and circumstances surrounding it) of Susan Powell in Utah. Her husband (and chief suspect in her disappearance) later murdered their children before taking his own life in Washington state. Piece of shit.

I'll second Antoine's recommendation of  Talking Simpsons.  That pod is fantastic, I've listened to almost every episode to date!  I even joined Patreon to hear more of their content!

Another one I got into in part because of Talking Simpsons is "We Hate Movies"  One of their hosts was on Talking Simpsons and plugged their pod.  It's 4 dudes shit talking movies for an hour and a half or so.  The crappier the movie (video games are the best for this!)  the better the episode.   They have over 400 episodes out.

Both of them! Not back to back, there was about 50ish episodes in between.  Both great, but the episode on the first was the funnier of the two.  Their Rayden impression through the episode was hysterical.  I was laughing my ass off in my cube listening to that one.

Their pod on the Super Mario Bros movie was also top notch!

I know you're a big history guy, have you checked out any of Dan Carlin's Hardcore History?  He has many in depth episodes on various topics.  I listened to his 6 part "Blueprint for Armageddon" series focusing on WWI.  Each episode is 3 and a half to 4 hours. Really good listen.

Is there a good “Better Call Saul” podcast? I know AMC has their own but they basically just pat themselves on the back all the time. Was thinking more critic type show.

The Wire podcast from The Ringer. I just can’t. Hill really just is not my cup of tea. Turned it off like 30 minutes in.
