IMO, the problem with Betty is that she's so unsympathetic and cold that you either A) don't care about her character-developing story-lines, or you just want to see her get shit on.

Of all the characters, she is the one thats been written into a corner she'll never be able to get out of.

Option A for me. Too much Betty is my only major gripe with the premiere.

Episode 5 was great. Last night was interesting. Can't see that ending well for Peggy.

The Grantland recaps are great.

Love the dynamic with the merged company. The back-and-forth with Ted, and Don.

Great line from Frank Gleason to Ted about allowing Don to have the early rounds.

Even better series of lines from Roger when he fired Burt.

Pete is just unbelievably cringe worthy.

Don getting off over mental control over Sylvia was interesting (enjoying control there, due to lack of control in professional and personal life with his wife?) until that ended.

What a horrible year '68 must have been.

Which was more disturbing: Pete taking advantage of his mother's dementia, or Don acting so controlling of Sylvia?

Ted is a really interesting character. I can see an alternate version of the series set at his agency where Ted is the hero always getting thwarted by the villainous Don Draper. Coming to NBC this fall!

My favorite episode of the season so far last night.

The last two episodes have been great. Part of it is certainly that a lot has happened and Peggy has been reunited with Don, but I don't think it's a coincidence that Betty hasn't been in either.

I am in a minority, I think, but I've always liked Betty as a character.

Why? Especially post divorce.

I get why people don't like her, and I don't think she's used well, but I just find her entertaining. Like her discussion with Henry in the premiere where she was saying just awful things but in such a calm, almost smiling way; that was one of the funniest scenes I think the show ever did.

Don likes the "less talking, more f--king" thing, huh? Interesting to see where that goes and how he treats Megan no that the affair is over.

I like Ted...I am rooting for him vs Don. It would be nice to see him knocked down a few pegs.

I know it's been everywhere already, but c'mon: tap-dancing Ken Cosgrove is the best Ken Cosgrove.

When Peggy turned around with that makeshift harpoon and stabbed Abe...that may have been the funniest scene in the whole run of the series.

And when Betty and Don ended up at the gas station together and she said Henry was coming the following day, I spent the next fifteen minutes going, "Yeah, they're gonna." And I was very happy to be right.

Caught up on last week's episode. It was fun to see Betty have a good episode to do well in.

That stupid "father abraham" song is stuck in my head though. Ugh.

Yeah, I'm glad to see skinny Betty back; I was sick of the storyline of her being chubby.
