He had a terrible start...Didn't get out of the third, allowed 6 runs, walked 4 and K'ed 1.
Too bad, guess he will get another start or two. Interesting that he has been walking so many guys so far. (Extended spring start as well.)
Kevin Gregg says thanks somewhere.

I haven't paid that much attention. If Wada gets on track, is he expected to be placed in the rotation?

I think there is at least some speculation on that..nothing set in stone though.I haven't paid that much attention. If Wada gets on track, is he expected to be placed in the rotation?
Wouldn't surprise me to see them send down BMat(if he is struggling) before getting rid of Gregg because they want Bmat working with Peterson, being in low pressure situations, etc...

Well I hear Linda Ronstadt is looking for a guitar player.

The only reason he's pitching there now is that it's technically a rehab assignment.
Anyone know anything about this?

I thought I heard that Wada signed a major league contract, and that he doesn't have a minor league component to his deal. Not sure what that means, but I was led to believe that he can't be sent down.
The only reason he's pitching there now is that it's technically a rehab assignment.
Anyone know anything about this?
I believe he has the right to refuse a demotion. Doesn't mean he would though.
If after 30 days "rehab" the results are not noticeably better then today (I think they will be) how can you bring him up?

If Wada is not ready, then call up Berken and sh-tcan Gregg immediately.
My gut tells me that Berken is going to be about as effective as Gregg. I'd call up Nishek.

At least Berken can be ineffective over multiple innings. Gregg can only suck for one inning a game.

So apparently, he's hurting again (his neck this time), and they are considering sending him back to extended spring training for a while longer. Either that, or he sucked in his last outing, so they are making up an injury to stop the clock on his rehab to give him a chance to pitch at extended spring training and get on track.
