Callis believes he will still be a TOR starter.
Said them nixing the cutter is no big deal...that he still has several plus pitches.
As polished a HS pitcher as most scouts had seen.
Thinks he could be up this year and ready for spot in 2015.

I'm sure we all wish both Bundy's full health and recovery. Dylan is a special kind of warrior and I'm hopeful for a sound return in mid-2014 and great spring in 2015.

Bundy is starting to lightly play catch:

MiLB.com: As far as throwing and your pitches, before getting injured, your fastball was arguably your best pitch, and the Orioles asked you not to throw the cut fastball. What do you think your velocity will be like when you return and will you resume the use of the cutter?
Bundy: Right before I got hurt, it was anywhere from 91-93 [mph], so I just want to get to somewhere around a good pitching speed, 92, 95. If I get more than that, I'll be really happy. I'll definitely work on [the cutter] when I get back to where I feel comfortable that I can throw that pitch again and see how it goes

June 28th seems like a random date to choose, but that would be one year since his surgery.

MASN: Bundy throwing

Dylan Bundy has twice thrown from 120 feet as he continues his recovery from last year's ligament-reconstructive surgery on his right elbow. He will need to progress to 180 feet before being cleared to throw off a full mound at the end of March.

Dylan Bundy, who is coming back from Tommy John surgery, will take a big step forward in his next bullpen session and throw breaking balls. Bundy has been limited to just changeups and fastballs as he continues to get his elbow strength back.

Read on CBS Sports that he's throwing 40 pitches today, again including breaking balls.

Baltimore Sun: http://www.baltimore...0,7308350.story
-- Right-hander Dylan Bundy (elbow surgery last June) threw his first live batting practice session -- basically a simulated game with a batter in the box -- Tuesday in Sarasota, Fla. He threw 20 pitches and hit 93 mph on the radar gun.
“Everything went real well. Threw all his pitches. That was real encouraging,” Showalter said. “Velocity was a little firmer than I thought it would be.”
