Which concert?

Julien Baker at the 9:30 Club, it's my first concert I've gone to since middle school so I think it will be a slightly more notable occasion than one of 100s of Ravens games I'll watch in my life haha

Sounds like I avoided some stress only occasionally checking the scoring on my phone and not watching any of the game live lol

Today, for only the 25th time ever, all 4 major North American sports leagues will have at least one game played (NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB). I guess whatever you want to call this occasion, it would be the polar opposite of the day after the MLB All Star game, when typically none of those leagues are in action.

I dont get out too much. :)

But, I happen to take a stole through Live Casino and they have a sports bar pit, with a ton of Big TV screens, stacked 3 hang and wrapped all around the back 180 of the pit.

Sports junkie's heaven.

And how long ago did sports betting pass, and MD just won’t move forward with the process. New Jersey did a billion dollars in sports betting revenue in September alone. MD is like, maybe one day, we’ll see.

They said, - we need the lottery in Maryland. It will solve all of our debts and fix all of the school budgets, etc.

It didn't

They said - we need to join the mega millions. same song and dance, and same outcome.

They repeated this for powerball, same outcome.

They said, we need simulcast horse racing, to help the industry out, and of course, Md will get taxable dollars. When did that money go?

They said, we need Casinos and make lots of money and solve everything - It didnt

They said, we need card games, poker and not just black jack. It didnt

Do you see a trend here?

Yep. It's time to make marijuana recreationally legal in the state. That of course will result in all kinds of the tax dollars going towards great things. DOIT!

Thank you for riding the Ricker Red Line east-west rail through Baltimore. This beautiful piece of public transportation is brought to you by the the legal marijuana initiative, and one very well-baked citizen.

No doubt. The money doesn’t go where they say it does. But my point is how long does it take to give these places the license. It passed forever ago, and I’d like to put a few bucks on a game from time to time without using a site ending in .eu

Ok this is not mine, but it's a hoot...

I pass by this old mailbox on my daily runs. The old rusty box is nailed to an oak that has to be 150 years old. After years of passing it by, I decided to open the box to see if anything was inside. After all, there isn’t even a house nearby to which it could serve anyway. Any home it serviced long ago is torn down, I’m sure.

I noticed an old letter inside, as you can see in picture #2. I looked at the postmark date, and it said July 7, 1903! Due to age and moisture, the addressee on the envelope was not readable, so I opened up the envelope hoping to find some local history and a good story I could share with you. Here is what the letter inside said. “We have been trying to reach you about your vehicle’s extended warranty.”
