College basketball signing day is today. Where does MD stack up this year? I remember seeing them in the top ten on ESPN a few weeks back. Xavier is currently ranked with the 4th best class by ESPN, 9th by Scout.

Didn't even know that, amazing the difference between football and basketball. Football is bigger and all, I think it also benefits from not being in-season.

@AdamZagoria: Tom Konchalski posits that Jabari Parker 'might' stay at Duke an extra year to play with Okafor http://t.co/YV0txQp8Rq

Speculation that Jabari could stay...tend to doubt it but wouldn't that be something?

Parker would be stupid to stay. He's a lock to go Top 3.

He would be a lock to go top 3 the next year as well...assuming health(big assumption too).

If he wants to win a NC, then I think he should stay and try! :)

I wonder if some of these bonafide prospects may tempt another year or two to try and go #1 overall? There is a lot of mystique about being the #1 pick...

Im just of the thought that the longer you wait, the more you'll get picked apart and risk dropping. Of course, there is the injury concern too.  I would never mess around if I was a lottery pick, especially a Top 5 pick.

Besides, it's not inconceivable Parker goes #1 this year anyway. He's more polished than Wiggins at this stage. I know NBA is so much about potential, but it's not like Parker is near his ceiling either.

I definitely agree with you on this. I don't see it happening.

Not sure how low they'd have to be to comeback, hard to pass up a guaranteed pay-day IMO even if you are sacrificing some dough.

Yeah, I think my thought there is a stretch, but figured I'd throw it out there. You never know. Some of these blue chippers have some incredible ego's.

Yep.

Heck, if he misses the NCAA's this year I'll be right there to fire up the bunsen burner under his seat.
