So far this year, Drabek has used his 2/4 seamer about 73% of the time. That's a lot of fastballs. Both average around 93.5 MPH. His change is his third highest used pitch (behind the 4/2 seamers), and is 9 MPH slower than his FB's, not bad. His Curve/Slider combo is only used 10% of the time.

Looks like his 2-seamer induces a lot of groundballs, but that control can be an issue. Hopefully the O's can get a feel for his 2-seamer early and draw some walks and avoid the double plays.

No Reynolds, Wieters, Hardy. Really don't like this lineup that Buck threw out for today's game while going for a sweep. Also wish Wieters was catching for Matusz and not Paulino.

Good look here.

Drabek has awesome stuff. Would like to get to him early.

Had the exact same thought about Wieters and Matusz. The plan going into the series was for Paulino to play yesterday. I never heard why that was changed.

Any reason why I would be blacked out of this game?

I'm in Cincinnati.

Reimold apparently has a tight hamstring. Could play.

Palmer talking about how he had the 'wow' factor with Drabek's ML debut in '10. I agree, his stuff just jumped out at you.

2-1 to Johnson, who is looking for his first hit.

Quick inning for Drabek, as Markakis grounds out to Escobar.

Hopefully Matusz can have a quick inning of his own, and settle in. I envision him looking for strike 1, and Toronto's hitters looking to jump on a fastball.
