All in all I thought it was a memorable and entertaining World Cup and the best team won.

ESPN has announced that Sunday’s Germany-Argentina World Cup Final which aired on ABC, received a 9.7 overnight rating. It’s the third-highest overnight rating for a World Cup match behind the 1994 Final between Brazil and Italy (12.8) and the 1994 Round of 16 match between the USA and Brazil (10.4).
