Your pompadour? You are the Mel Kiper of the MLB draft.
Haha. Use it before I lose it, I guess...
You going to Foleys on Thursday? I might swing by.

No, I won't be in NYC, unfortunately. Midwest for the draft and chatting at BP all day and through the evening. Traveling the following weekend to start scouting in earnest for the 2015 class.

He was good, but not his best. Had a weird delay to start his outing when the ump made him swap out his pitching sleeve after he already warmed up. Flashed one of the best change ups I've seen out of him, but fastball command was a bit behind where it normally is. At this point it's just making sure he's healthy. I'm sure his drafting org hopes Louisville is two and out next weekend.
What was the MLB Roundtrip about? Not my hair, right?
Yea, that was really odd, but that whole game was strange with the benches clearing among the weirdness.....
They're Sunday night show is always "Baseball Prospectus" themed, and Ferrin was talking about the experts that will be on the draft show, and he mentioned you.

@TuckerBlairON Happy Draft Day!
It just hit me it's today... between the O's recent success and them not picking today, my interest has very much diminished. With the 8 PM O's start, I can watch the beginning atleast.
How much interest does everyone else have?

Well obviously, I have a ton, but I also have a Dr. appt. at 7pm, so we'll see how much that gets in the way
Crossing my fingers for a sprain, and not a Lisfranc injury.

The Astros are on the clock as they have been for the past 4 years.

I'm totally into this, even though I really don't know much about the players..Been reading up a ton on them the last few weeks.
Was curious who was going to take Hoffman, after the Tommy John.

Very surprised the Cubs went with Schwarber at #4...he was projected much later in the first round.
I've learned not to underestimate Theo though.

Amazing the difference of activity here/interest when we have a top 5 pick (and not doing well in the standings) then when we don't draft until the 90th pick (and are in contention).

Isn't it the scouting director by extension, I guess you could say, Theo. I'm not as high on Theo as others are. If he turns around the Cubs, I'll give him credit.

We've discussed this, but I'm a lunatic Baseball fan, I can't get enough of this shit.

It's not so much the overall popularity of baseball to me even though it plays into it. It's that football/basketball is easier because they are much more mainstream, not to mention those players have a direct impact right away unlike baseball.
