Wake Forest is 3-3 overall, 1-2 in the ACC.

Wins over Presbyterian, @Army, and vs. NCST.

Losses @BC, LA Monroe, @Clemson.

Their last game was their home 28-13 win vs. NCST on 10/5.

MD opens as a 7 point favorite.

This Game Thread is brought to you c/o Greenspring.

If MD can beat Wake, the Terps will be bowl eligible. Thoughts on the bowl you'd like to see MD in?

SB Nation currently has MD facing Washington in the Sun Bowl.

At this point, I'd like to see them in any bowl. Any bowl would be a win. But I think they can make it into a decent bowl, not the ACC's worst bowl.

Agreed, we can get picky at a later date, but right now just getting to a bowl would be nice. A lot of the bowl selection process is just politics anyways.

Yup. Sun Bowl is a good one. New Year's Eve against what is normally a good opponent. GT played USC in that game last season.

I'll take the Sun Bowl. I think it would be fun to see the Terps play the 4th/5th best team in the Pac-12.

Yeah, I thought that looked like a pretty interesting / entertaining match-up.

Hopefully they can go to Wake Saturday and take care of business. Will have to play better than they did yesterday, but they should win.

@Wake
Clemson (L)
Syrcause

@VaTech

BC

@NCST

Beat Wake... beat Syracuse, and BC (though the Eagles played FSU and Clemson tough) at home...

Lose to Clemson... likely lose at VaTech... but I think MD could have a chance there with Brown.

Be nice to close out ACC play with a road win at NCST.

Still have a decent chance at 9 regular season wins.

Cudjoe-Virgil now out of the year with a pec injury. Bit of a blow, as he was having a good year.

Really tough situation for a kid with a great story. But Yannick Ngakoue is more than ready to take his spot behind Whitfield. In fact, if Cudjoe-Virgil hadn't been doing so well this season, I had predicted that Ngakoue would have taken over for him by now anyway.

Whitfield is graduating this year, so expect to see a heavy dose of both Yannik and Yannick at that OLB position next year.

We should probably win, but an upset isn't out of the cards. Terps are 6 point favs, I would've thought they'd be a little less after last weeks result.

Just posted my weekly preview of Wake Forest, featuring an interview with J.P. Mundy, Managing Editor of SBNation's Blogger So Dear, and Special Correspondent for the Winston-Salem Journal.

Was posting about this a bit on Twitter last night. This means that two Terps weakside linebackers are out for this game. This forces freshman Cavon Walker into starting duty.

Back in January, I profiled Walker as part of our "Meet the Recruits" series: http://baltimorespor...t-cavon-walker/

We have to be the most injured team in the ACC, right?  My goodness.
