That garbage INT on the Hail Mary just decided the championship in my money keeper league...

 

The garbage pick 6 got me 3rd place and $25.

So in one league i scored 151 and lost in the first round. The other I scored 141.5 and lost in the semis (but took 3rd). Looked back and had I advanced like 99% of people with those point totals do, I would have ended up winning both leagues, out scoring the opponents I would have played. Would have been a $1,500 season. I'll have to settle for $200.

It's a cruel hobby.

This is why I like roto baseball better -- I truly think it awards the best overall team and not a random joke team that gets hot at the right time.

 

In the league I won we do our title over two weeks, 15 and 16, just in case during one of the weeks some random guy goes off.  This year, my opponent would have won if we had just done week 15 because he got 25 points from Dan Bailey.

Yep...in one of my leagues, I had the best record and most points....but Apete got hurt, Gronk is out and I lost Manuel...plus, Harvin never came back.

Team just did nothing this past weekend....that happens bc of the randomness of things.

I like the randomness. Not complete randomness, but some slight unpredictability makes it more interesting, IMO.

Cutler vs GB

Fitzpatrick vs Hou

Tannehill vs Jets

or heaven forbid, Orton vs Philly

 

Could always pick up a schlub like Cousins, Cassel, Pryor, or Ryan. 

 

Right now leaning Cutler but after last weeks stinker he's making me reconsider.

 

My opponent has Romo so that's why I scooped up Orton.

Green Bay's secondary is bad. I think you definitely go with Cutler.

My advice is get out of a league that has a week 17 championship.
