Depends if you really think that would put you over the top. And how long term the Jones injury could be. Really tough call, not sure what I would do.

I don't really think there is any long term injury concern for Jones.  And I think Spiller, even if he doesn't have a great season this year, is likely still a higher pick next year than Jones would be.  I mean even if he falls back to about the 12th or 15th RB he's probably not too far behind the #3 or so WR is what I think Jones would likely be next year.

We start two WR, two RB, and a flex.  I've also got Dez Bryant, LeSean McCoy, and Doug Martin as my keepers.  Have Antonio Brown as my now WR2 and Knowshon Moreno as my Flex.  And I've got Percy Harvin waiting to come back from the injury.  Picking up Spiller now would put him into the lineup and Knowshon onto the bench aside from bye weeks.  I'd still need another WR for when Brown/Bryant are on bye or if Brown ever has a really tough matchup or starts to struggle (Dez is obviously an every-week guy).

I'd love the trade if it was for Graham, as TE is a weak spot for me (Cook), but that's nott gonna be on the table.  I think Spiller is by far the best player I could acquire, as he's still a great keeper for next year and only one guy in the league that is really out of it looks to be willing to do that type of a move for an injured Jones.  The other bottom dwellers have guys like Cobb, MJD, Nelson, V. Davis, Sproles, Cruz, and Gore.  None of those seem like nearly as good of keepers for next year as Julio to me.

I think I gotta pull the trigger and then just hope that Spiller gets back to the promise everyone thought he had coming into the year (I drafted him #3 overall in one league) and that Jones remains just a stud WR instead of becoming the no-doubt #1 guy like Calvin Johnson is now.

LeVeon Bell or Justin Blackmon at flex

Agreed with Mackus. Rivers and Blackmon

1 RB and1 Flex out of:

Richardson @ SD

Morris @ Dal

Bowe vs Oak

Vincent Jackson vs Philly

Morris and Jackson .

Morris rushed for 113, and 200 yards in both games against Dallas last year.

Jackson only had two catches in week 4, but was targeted 11 times. Looks to be Glennons favorite target, and had an extra week with the bye to get their timing right.

So the trade on the table for me is Jones and a 5th round pick next year (after keepers) for Spiller and James Jones.

Yay or nay?  I'm trying to talk him into Vincent Jackson instead of James Jones.  Good or bad idea?

The future seems bright for Spiller. RBs are gonna be hard to come by. A WR that puts up the numbers Julio puts up can be found later in drafts. (Like Torrey Smith this year). If you can get a RB for a WR, and he's willing to throw in a WR with it, I'd take the deal. Vincent Jackson I'd go with over Jones. Too many weapons at Rodgers disposal, whereas Jackson is thee guy in Tampa.

But if you have to settle for James Jones, it's still not a bad deal.

Should I play Calvin if he's active. Apparently would see limited snaps.

I always run with my horses if they are going to play, even a limited role or a bad matchup.  If Megatron is active, I think you gotta roll with him, unless you've got a super stong play on your bench to use.

Alright, deal is done!

Julio Jones and my 6th round pick next year for CJ Spiller, James Jones, and his 7th next year.

So now, I need a WR2, RB2, and Flex choices from:

Antonio Brown

James Jones

Doug Martin

CJ Spiller

Knowshon Moreno

Thinking Brown, Martin, and Moreno.   Tough to not use either of the guys I just traded for, but I like the matchup with Moreno today a lot and Spiller's been a bit banged up.  Brown over Jones is a close tossup.

Pierre thomas. Best option with a chance to find the endzone.

I don't think I can go wrong here, but SF D vs. ARI or KC D vs. OAK.

Yeah that's the way I've decided.  Richardson just hasn't done much with the Colts yet (now watch him blow up this week) and is sharing goal line carries with the other back.  Jackson should see a ton of balls today with Williams ruled out.

Lemme get two claps and a Ric Flair

It was a tough call. Had a gut feeling on Ellington. Certainly wasn't a lock.
