Garcia tried to walk Chavez and he wouldn't let him do it. He's starting why?

Also, JJ continues smashing. Still can't believe the Twins traded him for pennies on the dollar considering they didn't have a better option.

Amazing thing to me, is that the Twins tried to change his approach at the plate.

I'm just happy whenever Jones lays off that low and away off speed pitch.

Markakis running on a 3-2 count, Jones flies out. Markakis back to 1st. 2 out.

Pretty minimal stuff from Garcia at this point.

True that. I'll take it though.

They're normally ok, but not during Yanks games...People lose ALL sense of rationality.

I loved loved loved Hardy when he was with Milwaukee. Then he kept getting hurt, needed a change of scenery.
Then the Twins said, hey! you were a fringe-MVP candidate in MIL? Let's fix that!

Nice piece of hitting by Matt, just bloops it the opposite way into left field.

While he hasn't drawn any walks yet, you can tell that he's got a conviction this year in terms of laying off crap pitchers pitches. I'd still like to see him walk more (way early obviously), but at least he isn't swinging at every piece of crap thrown his way and appears to be waiting out for a better pitch to hit. I like that he has said that his goal this year is to have quality AB's.

Jeter and Rivera can retire at any time.

Garcia with a WP right over Johnson's head, runners advance.

Nick just about had his head taken off.

How that didn't hit him is beyond me!

Any intentions there with that pitch that nearly took off Johnson's head? I doubt it, but I know some people have gotta be wondering about that.

Why is Nick Johnson swinging? His value is solely tied to taking walks.

Someone take his bat away.

No, not with the runners on. Not at the head.

Well, I sure do hate the Yankees, Red Sox and Phillies, so be forewarned! ;)

Seriously though, I don't completely lose it in these games; only just a little.
