I mean, at this point, I get it.  But if anything it's on his coach more than it is him.  Fisher's still got him in there, still got them throwing passes.  Can't blame Winston for going in to play when he's not pulled yet nor be blamed for throwing on designed/called pass plays.

Of course the UMD defense is more than welcome to try to stop him at any point.

No point of playing any of your core players at this point, game is well out of reach now. I don't really care about the whole running up the score aspect as some. It's more of an injury thing IMO.

Just let it go, man. You were right and made your point.

The thing is, he's not right.  The stadium is full only for the big games.  I love the Terps as much as anyone but it doesn't carry the must attend label in Florida.  74K is still a HUGE sum of people.

The stadium is, what, 85% full, so what the hell is the point of saying something?  The crowd is plenty loud enough.

He's obviously trying to say something here.  I know what it is, and I'm hopeful he'll cop to it.

Oh I'm totally calling Fisher out, not Winston. Why is he still playing? What point is Fisher trying to make?

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Fisher was trying to make the point of "Well Terps, F*#% off.  You thought you could play with the big boys in the NCAA and ACC but you can't.  Back to the middle tier with you."

Seriously, did the Terps D spend the last 2 weeks studying Redskins game film?  The tackling today has been abysmal.

8 quick-strike TD's and we're right back in this thing.

Speaking of a lot of empty seats, wonder what Byrd will look like next week after this debacle? They pretty much let the air out of any momentum there was among the fan base.

I thought it would be sold out with FSU being ranked 8th and playing a "real team." I'm not saying this game should be treated like Florida or close to it.

No one here is defending you. And the last time, you pulled this stunt, everyone thought you were off-base as well.

I'm not sure, they had that promotion thing going through Friday. This doesn't help but I'm not sure how much it hurts them since were talking about a lot pre-sold tickets. They'd probably get 40k to start with regardless of how this game went.

Why do you think I'm pulling a stunt?  I'm not.  You grate on me with this kind of shit, and I am letting you know.  I'm not the only one here who feels this way, so maybe its not me?

BTW, expecting a sell out and treating this game like UF is EXACTLY the same thing.

I'll try to steer clear of you if you prefer, but no promises.

40K, but they won't get much more than that with this effortless performance.

Terps flying home on the MD-Pride plane = ironic.

Edsall needs to ask for the running clock here. This is disgraceful.

I thought you were done, obviously you aren't. How do I "grate on you?" You instigated this, you responded to me.

I don't think it's the same thing, I'd expect the crowd to be more into it for the Florida game. Not all sellouts are equal.

I don't think you can stay clear, I think you're very incapable of that.

It's not baseball but what do you think the difference would've been had we been more competitive? If they get a nice day Saturday like what we've been experiencing lately, I think you probably add a few thousand just with that. So maybe 42k? I'm thinking UVA will also have a decent presence, even if they haven't had the greatest year.

Maybe 45k if they had been competitive. I haven't had season tix since 2006, but UVA never had much of a presence at Byrd when I was going to games.

I was thinking 44k, so not too off here from my thoughts.

I think it's time for the Terps to use their MTV Rock-n-Jock 80-point field goal try this series.
