Had a hunch it would be a noon game. Nice to see them get the nod over the B1G games on the Mothership though. I will be up and ready to go for kickoff.

Biggest since Edsall's first game, I have to think the sights are set higher. Don't think they'll be the GameDay featured game anytime soon, but if they somehow keep this up, it's possible.

UVA game set for 3:30 on October 12 (per the Washington Post) on one of the ESPN family of networks but not the mothership.

Note: Not sure where this goes. I didn't want to prematurely start a new thread and nothing else I could find really matched it. Chris - feel free to move this

Ugh, noon start is worst possible scenario for me. Instead of watching the game I get to coach my son's U-6 soccer team at 12:30. Think they'd notice if I snuck an old FM Walkman?

The Smithsonian would call and demand their exhibit back (although the place may well be shut down, so I guess you could get away with it).

Noon actually works in my favor this Saturday. Having a beer tasting party in the afternoon that would have been too distracting. Can't wait for this game. Trying not to get too confident, but I love that we have a chance (I think so at least).

I can assure you guys that I won't be wearing my Maryland jersey this Saturday for the game. But that's because I'll be in an extremely rural area of West Virginia, and I don't want to be the victim of an unfortunate "hunting accident".

Noon sucks. I'll be on a plane bound for New Orleans. I'm slated to land around 1:30 eastern time, meaning if i'm lucky we'll be checked into the hotel by the 4th quarter. Hope its still worth watching at that point.

If the Terps win this one, you would have to think that Virginia and Wake Forest would be wins. Meaning that Clemson vs. Maryland could be a matchup of undefeated teams, and the GameDay crew might make that trip. Another option that weekend could be Penn State @ Ohio State. But if Penn St loses a game or two before then, that matchup loses it's luster. Other games that weekend are UCLA @ Oregon, Texas Tech @ Oklahoma, maybe an unranked Tennessee @ Alabama in an otherwise lame week for the SEC. Some SEC teams are playing their usual late season cupcake. LSU hosts Furman, Ole Miss hosts Idaho.

One step at a time, I know its a long shot, but it would be really cool if GameDay came to town.

Ha, what can I say. Don't have a smartphone so my options are very limited. Pretty sure I still have a walkman on my "stuff I should have thrown away a long time ago but for some reason haven't" shelf.
