@RavensInsider: Michael Huff on being replaced by Matt Elam: 'As long as we win, I'm good. I struggled last week. It's not on the coaches, it's on me.'

Classy quote by Huff.

Phil Taylor claiming Ray Rice spit on him it sounds like.

I actually thought the secondary played better as the game went on.  Elam made some good and bad plays but he is a guy starting his first game.

The second half had a good flow.  The defense was flying to the ball and the pressure was excellent, and Joe was extremely patient and started to use his receivers in a way that suited their strengths.  Torrey as an all purpose guy, Stokely on key third yardage plays.  Brandon does not have the legs he once had but those hands are still very reliable.  Marlon Brown just looks like a player.  He should have had a TD early in the game on a great throw by Joe, but he came back and made some really nice receptions, including the TD that put the Ravens in control.

I think Brown is going to get better due to the increased reps and when Jacoby comes back, he will be the guy that takes the top off the D, while Brown becomes the every down back.

Good win for the Ravens.  They faced adversity in the first half but were very good in the second half.

This team should get better as the year goes on.

Expecting perfect games is probably unfair.

I really do not look at this game as ugly.  It was a street fight, very physical and the Ravens came together to take control in the second half.  Only one turnover, and Joe was solid and clean through the game.

The biggest misspell on BSL is of Brandon Stokley. Everyone is spelling it Stokely... but it's definitely Stokley.

Kruger hasn't done much for Cleveland so far.

I liked Kruger in his time here but Doom is very much an upgrade.

The D line and rush guys were good today and are going to get better.

Arthur Jones makes a huge difference and Ngata was collapsing the pocket.  I will be surprised if the unit does not become more dominant as the year goes on.

A few other  guys worth mentioning.  Doss did a very good job on punt returns.  He started cautious on one he should have run back, but made two nice returns, came up into a crowd and caught the ball to save field position..

Daryl Smith was strong, often dropping deep to help down the middle and also coming through with some nice blitzes.

Was there today. Offense has a ways to go. Single-covering Torrey is a fool's errand.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty
