I WONDER WHO YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT.

Yup.

Roy is actually a nice guy, had many a private chat with him.

But, he also knew how to push buttons and stir things up.

(Game buzzer) ....beep! Not to whom I was referring. Roy’s ok, but not that knowledgeable about baseball. His threads were included in the Orioles section even if it had nothing to do with Orioles baseball, like promoting anything he was involved in.

*sigh

I was not referring to Roy FIrestone, who yes, got celebrity status liberties.

Roy is the first name of the guy posting in colors.

He's a good O's fan.  I can't hate on him.

I get that and I dont hate him either, had several good private chats with him. He left for a while, one of the trolls was always attacking him, and getting away with it, since he was a paying member, so he went to lurking for awhile.

I will admit to getting irritated with resecurrecting old threads without good cause.

That's fantastic.  Will be terrific to have him back.

Wonder how bad he'd have to be to not win Comeback Player of the Year?  Better not give it to someone who missed "all" of 2020 with a sprained ankle or something like that.

I thought that he may already been vaccinated.  He certainly had the medical reason

Trey Mancini singled in the 3rd inning today. He's 16-for-48 (.333) with 2 homers and a .340 on-base percentage. He's not happy with 1 walk and 18 strikeouts, but he's healthy and on a regular spring schedule. No restrictions. We had no idea if this could be done when camp began.

I don't do twitter, but someone should post the Mancini interview with SVP yesterday.  Good stuff.

Raised his OPS 68 points last night.

38 RBI in 42 team games is an insane rate.  And still not on pace to match Tejada's 2004 season.

Trey can flat out hit.   It will be interesting to see what happens with his status as the year goes on.  I would like to see us keep Trey, and not get rid of him for salary relief.

What did Jones get, 85 million for 6 years?  Seems like he wouldn't cost anymore than that would he?

The Orioles don't like to spend money.
