I see this game is scheduled to be shown on ESPNEWS. I know that channel has been occasionally used in the past for overflow when a game that runs late overlaps the start of another game on ESPN, but I'm not aware of a game ever being scheduled for live broadcast on that channel until this season (there were 2 games shown on it last weekend). Wonder if we will see more live events on there from now on, and more importantly if a re-branding for it could be coming.

They were showing full games on there last week, so it looks like games will be spanning all 3 ESPN channels this season (ESPN, ESPNEWS, and ESPNU).

ESPN2 still has games also, usually in the noon and late-night windows, and occasionally the reverse-mirror coverage of one of the 3:30 regional ABC games.

CSN Baltimore: MD on the lookout for ODU after FCS upsets
http://www.csnbaltim...fter-fcs-upsets

From the article:

"There is no official word or reason to speculate, but cornerback Jeremiah Johnson was on crutches with a walking boot on his left foot after Maryland’s win over FIU. Maryland is not obligated to release week-to-week injury reports during the non-conference season and it has elected not to, so no further details on the apparent injury will be known until game time."

That's a really concerning quote. Losing a lock-down corner like Johnson would be huge. I think they'd be OK without him, as Isaac Goins and William Likely have done well so far, but Johnson adds so much to this team both on and off the field. Here's hoping it's just a minor injury. I did notice him limping off the field after a special teams play on Saturday, but thought nothing of it since nothing was mentioned.

There was an article I saw awhile back mentioning some rebranding with that network. ESPN Classic used to be the de facto ESPN 4 (after ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNU). I think ESPNnews is becoming more of it. They have the Goal Line channel, which can do what ESPNnews does now.

So, I guess we won't be seeing the game today. This is a perfect reason why the Big Ten move is necessary. Eff'n ESPN.

I was able to get it on the Watch ESPN app.

Ugh, this announcing crew is horrendous.

I like these uniforms.

Also, unless the band is still filling in the rest of the student section, MD students should be ashamed of themselves. No excuse for this, I don't care that it's ODU.
