I watched the first episode, and wasn't too impressed. Based on some of the critics and ratings reports I've seen, it doesn't look like I'm missing much by not keeping up on it. I think AMC knows that, too, considering all of the effort they are putting into convincing Breaking Bad fans to keep watching through the show.

I do wonder how they will extend the show. It seems like a better fit for a mini-series / 1 year run.
