Hoping to get to the BaySox game tonight, and see them for the first time.
I thought about it, the tailgate Tuesday is a pretty good deal, but it's going to be cold, and I have a ton to do this week, so I'm thinking maybe late May.

Especially Machado. He seems to almost have too good an eye, or is simply too patient.
I think this year is the best year for them growth wise. I would like for them to stick at AA all year honestly.
I think keeping Hoes, Machado, Schoop together and have them grow as a team would be a great idea.

When looking at the box scores every night, the trend I see is that both of these players walk at a good rate.
Especially Machado. He seems to almost have too good an eye, or is simply too patient.

I agree - I don't remember the last time we've had an opportunity to do that with 2 or more positional prospect.
Glad to see that Schoop is getting it going a little bit, SSS be damned.

Schoop was 0 for 4 yesterday, but it has been a nice stretch for him. Another week of plus production, and he will pull his overall numbers back to respectable.

Machado is batting .279 with a .374 OBP and .810 OPS. He's not really hitting home runs right now, he has just two in 147 at-bats, but he's getting extra base hits like they're worth a million bucks a pop (a team leading 13 doubles to go with 2 triples).

Yes, great splits and love the doubles and triples. Some of those will be HRs in a few years as he matures.Gotta love the spread between BA and OBP for a 19 y/o in AA.
