Minor League Baseball Catcher Dies After Motorized Skateboarding Accident
A minor league baseball player has died aged 27, three days after police found him lying on the road bleeding from the head after he crashed to the ground on his motorized skateboard.
Chace Numata, a catcher for the Detroit Tigers minor league system, passed away on Sept. 2, according to a statement from the family, after an accident on Aug. 30 in the lakeside town of Erie.

For sure. No issues with the 1 year deals, assuming the goal is to move them in July.
But the bottom line is that this doesn't really help Detroit, unless the goal is to win 65 games instead of 45 in 2020.

Exactly the type of moves, I would like to see. They are major League players, who make your team more watchable, and who can be flipped for something small at the deadline.
Not sure what they got, but too rich for our blood.

Cabrera's homer was during some intense snowfall, I couldn't even see the ball. He slid into 2nd before he was told it was a home run.
