I like Ryan Doyle, I think he's an interesting piece moving forward.
I think Ricardo Young is a good option at backup QB if Brown suffers a long-term injury, but if it's a snap or two I'd like to see Hills or Rowe simply due to better passing skills. Young is the only one who can run the read-option as well as Brown, so he'd be there if C.J. were to miss full games.
As for William Likely, I'd like to see him on the field, but it might be smartest to go ahead and redshirt him. The Terps lose Dexter McDougle and Isaac Goins after this season, so they'll need all the CBs they can get. Having 4 years of Likely after this year would be huge. Even if he amazes in practice, he'd still be 4th on the depth chart because McDougle, Johnson, and Goins aren't going anywhere.

Some big news just now:
1. Ryan Doyle unseated Nick Klemm and will be the Terps' starting right tackle.
2. Michael Dunn beat out Andrew Zeller for the starting right guard job.
3. Backup QB competition is between Ricardo Young and Caleb Rowe. Perry Hills has been eliminated from competition.
This makes the starting O-Line look like this:
LT - Mike Madaras
LG - De'Onte Arnett
C - Sal Conaboy
RG - Michael Dunn
RT - Ryan Doyle

Lots of love for Likely. The entire Secondary should be pretty good, especially if a pass rush develops.
As Zack mentioned above, Klemm and Zeller are now reserve lineman. They figure to still be needed, hopefully this helps build some further depth.
Perry Hills had a bigger game than Rowe in the scrimmage, so it is interesting that Hills has been eliminated. The good news is that with Young, Rowe, and Hills you have 3 guys with experience behind Brown. As long as MD doesn't wind up going to their 5th QB in back-to-back years; they should be in good shape there.
It's nice to read that Craddock has the talent necessary (and occasionally shows it in practice), but the lack of consistency remains an issue of concern.
