Jumbled mess at the bottom of the table with numerous teams in danger of relegation.  Leeds could really use a W tomorrow against the Wolves to help their cause.

Man Chelsea looks lost. At one point today that had 6 shots on goal with a big zero on the score sheet. Aston Villa had a whole 2 shots on goal at that point. But both went in and AV ended up with the 2-0 win.

Leeds in another must win today against fellow relegation candidate Nottingham Forest.  Sadly still no Tyler Adams who recently had minor surgery on his hamstring and will be out for an undetermined amount of time.

The money would be waiting for him somewhere. Taking on a hodgepodge of talented pieces that don't fit together coherently, mid season, without a long enough time commitment from management to make it work means damaging his rep in the long term, all for an ultimately inferior team this season.

If you're going to inherit a mess at least wait until the summer when you have some time to make it yours.

Like many great goals, they are usually preceded by an equally great pass and Haaland's 1st was no exception. De Bruyne put that one on a platter for him.

Arsenal dropped more points today, barely (and I mean barely) getting the draw at home against lowly Southampton. Feels like if they can't get a result at City next week, it's over.

With that draw City now control their destiny (down 5 points with 2 games in hand). Has a feeling of inevitability to it.

Well for the first time ever the FA Cup Final will be a Manchester Derby. Man U had to go to the 7th penalty to beat BHA 1-0 on penalties. The penalties were crazy good. The first 12 shots were unstoppable. BHA missed over the top on #13 and Man U put #14 away for the win.

 

Not sure I have ever seen 14 penalties taken were there were zero saves?

Both clubs needed 3 and of course they draw.  Jamie Vardy comes on for the equalizer in the 80th minute scoring just his 2nd goal all year.

Haaland managed to get his name on the sheet at the very end (#33, most ever in a 38-match EPL season, and 1 shy of tying the all-time record).

 

That should effectively close the door on the title chase. With two in hand and the friendlier schedule the rest of the way, hard to see City not winning their third straight, and 5th title in 6 seasons.
