Myles Turner, who was the longest-tenured Pacer on last season's team, is leaving to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks. He wanted to remain a Pacer, but they couldn't get a deal done. This sounds like fallout from Haliburton's injury, because the Pacers did not want to go into the luxury tax in a season they will be without their best player.
The Bucks, meanwhile, have to use every means at their disposal to try and keep Giannis happy. I imagine adding a center who can stretch the floor like Turner helps. To accomplish this the Bucks are waiving Damian Lillard and stretching his remaining salary.
