John Lodge, The Moody Blues. 82. 

 

Rest easy. 

He was Just a Singer in a Rock and Roll Band. :cool:

 

Actually John Lodge was a solid bass player and songwriter for a ground-breaking group. Now almost all of my favorite band are gone. Only Justin Hayward remains.

Reggae legend Jimmy Cliff. He was 81.

 

Really fell in love with his music when I came back from the Bahamas. It was my first time out of the country. I bought his greatest hits and proceeded to blast the CD for months afterward. His music reminds me of the joy and excitement of international travel.

 

RIP Mr. Cliff. I hope you finally got that pie up in the sky.
