My in-laws just bought a place in Ocean Pines and we were down there this weekend.  Nice little spot without dealing with the OC riff raff

Used to stay there when I was young and we went down. Even being young I liked being able to pop in and out and not have to stay right in the middle of all the chaos, it's exhausting.

When we took the girls for a night last summer that one day was about as much as I could take.

I never really stay in OC unless I’m at my friends condo for a few days.

Otherwise, I’m always in the Bayside community down 54. That place is the best. Having to drive 5-10 to get to the beach is meaningless to me.

The new Ropewalk is great. I like that way better than Mackeys.

I haven't been since 2017. Newer since then?

It's nice and all, but I found it a little over priced and the food was so so for the price. Very nice spot though.

I have never felt that place was overpriced.

Oh man, you owe it to yourself. Its on the Northbound side of 1 pretty much right where 90 comes in I think. It's so greasy and amazing.

An awful fight captured on video last night. More like attempted murder. I won’t post them but if you can find them you’ve been warned.

My question is: where are the cops? They usually have the boardwalk patrolled pretty well.

Also, there apparently was a stabbing separately, or maybe not separate, from this incident.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Yea I saw the video. Yet another reason I would never step foot on the boardwalk at night.

Also a good advertisement for staying in Fenwick or that part of OC vs going anywhere near the inlet area.

Like I said, the cops usually have the inlet area of the boardwalk patrolled pretty well. There is usually a big fight or two over the summer but for a city the size of OC during the summer, you'd expect this kind of thing to happen more often and it just doesn't.

I do tend to be off the boardwalk by 11 if I venture there at night, but I have been there at 2 AM when bars let out as well (I am coming out of a bar) and never had any issues.

But I think the biggest factor of this incident is Senior Week. I can't understand how the city still allows this to happen. It's always a disaster.
