In.  Have done absolutely zero research this season.

I'm not sure how much research actually ends up helping. In some cases sure. I think in many cases, it's just comes down to dumb luck with the way the ball bounces and getting the right calls on the 50/50 matchups. This is definitely something you can overanalyze. With the standard 32 points per round scoring and/or a large pool, you'll need to get the right champion anyways, it just comes down to taking some risks --picking a team like Memphis to reach the Final Four or having Manhattan beating Louisville. Those are things most don't do, but if you hit those kinds of things, you'll have a better shot. You pick KU to go all the way, they end up beating New Mexico in OT without Embiid then get him back and proceed to run the tables.

Bump.

We're at 21, hoping we'll get some last minute entries. And make sure to fill out your bracket, nothing uglier than seeing a blank sheet of paper. Best of luck to all!

Tied for 1st after Day One with Ricker and Adam. Feelin' good.

Now it's up to Eastern Kentucky to wreck everyone else's brackets and make me look like a genius.

1 out of every 5 people had Duke winning that region?! Good lord there are some dumb bandwagoners out there. You would think since the Lakers suck and the Yankees havent played yet they would have watched enough of Duke to see the holes in their game.

Yeah, just shows you how important the brand is. If you put FSU on their unis and they played the same way, how many would have them in the Final Four?

I had Duke winning that region.

It's pretty safe to say I'm not a bandwagon Duke fan.

I bet big on Ok State, I was screwed when they lost.  But that's what you have to do to win these things, bet big on an odd team because the ones who are supposed to win usually don't.

Looks like the pool is down to Mackus and me. Mack has Kentucky going to the championship game, I have Wisconsin going to the championship game... we both have Florida winning the title.
