If you preorder the XBOX now does it require you to pay in full now, or just a deposit?

Depends on where you do it. If you do it in store at Gamestop you only have to put $100 down. If you do it online or at some of the other big places you have to pay all of it.

If you do it on Amazon, you don't pay until it ships.

Titanfall:  An XBOX exclusive.  Bungie's Destiny and Respawn's Titanfall are probably the two next gen games I'm most looking forward to.

Destiny and The Division are what I'm most looking forward to.  Kingdom Hearts 3, too.

This is great news.

I enjoy when a large company actually listens to feedback and makes changes. Obviously it's in their best interest overall, but too many companies are headstrong/stubborn, whatever it is, and ignore the consumer way too much.

Agreed - but I think companies should be smarter all together and pilot these ideas among smaller focus groups before the information goes public. You will always be able to learn from those studies what the out cry is going to be. If you can stomach it, move forward, if it's too much, stop then, and avoid having to come back hat in hand to over turn your decisions. I just don't get why more companies don't do that.

I mean the more I thought about it, I liked where they were going with some of it, but I think they went too hard too fast.

Being able to share your digital games with a list of people and it not impacting you playing is a cool idea. Digital medium is the future, and they should be like $10-15 cheaper if buying digitally.

Didn't like the constant connection thing, but I get they were trying to guard rampant piracy with it, just not the best idea.

On the right path, but I like that they listened and leveled the playing field again. Now it's just down to price and exclusives like I said originally.

More stupidity being demonstrated by Microsoft. They totally ignore feedback from the community during the development cycle, opting instead to say "screw you, we're Microsoft". They then present, look like idiots, and eventually cave to the feedback they had been receiving all along. This is just like Windows 8 and how they've announced that they are working on a more "normal" start menu option for the next service pack.
¡Hasta la vista, pelota!

It should be noted that Titanfall is announced for PC as well.  I was a bit bummed when you said it was Xbox exclusive, but luckily I'll be able to play on my PC.

I'm happy that Microsoft has listened and changed some of the restrictive features of the X1.  However, they either need to get a new market research team or actually listen to the team they have if they thought people were going to swallow all the restrictions they aimed to implement, without any incentive to do so.
