Bump.  The scotch I prefer is insanely expensive where I live.  Looking for some other mid-shelf alternatives.

I've been getting into the all this of late. The 3 bottles I have right now are Sagamore, Four Roses Small Batch, and Lagavulin 8 years. I've also gifted my dad some Whistle Pig several times, which he's been very happy with.

Haven’t found a non-flavored whiskey I don’t like.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Regarding flavored whiskey, screwball is pretty damn tasty imo. It's a peanut butter whiskey for those that don't know.

It’s ok. Not my cup of tea though.

A good friend of mine gifted me a bottle of Blanton's Single Barrel a couple weeks ago, which if we are honest is pound for pound the best you're going to find (for the price, that is).

Other than that, I keep a bottle of Monkey Shoulder on hand (so as to not blow through the Blanton's).

One of my faves is not really well known, at least not amongst people I know. It’s called Glenmorangie! Smooth, full flavored awesomeness

I think I’m officially a rye guy. I still really Like bourbon. But rye hits the spot for me more.

I find it's best to rotate 'em. That way, it's like seeing an HD TV for the first time (each time). Well, no, but you get the idea.
