Granted, it's Del Park, but it's not the trip all the way to AC and you don't have the insane min bet that you have at Live.

Has the deregulation of casino's across the country had an impact on Vegas, too? Or just AC. I agree, AC will never be the same... but they'll always have some good spots. The Borgata isn't going anywhere, and that's a very nice casino. The Boardwalk will help. But bottom line, they need to evolve into more of an overall get away spot, not just a gambling spot.

Then again, if Jersey is able to get sports betting, some other east coast states won't be far behind.

They need to up the ante again. If Jersey can get sports betting, AC will become hot again.

There are too many pro teams and college teams close by for them to legalize it statewide. Maybe AC can get it passed within city borders, but even then it would be hard. I would think if they could have gotten sports betting, they would have by now. Maybe legalizing prostitution...LOL...but they don't even have topless clubs there now. The girls are all in bikinis.
The main draw of AC will always be gambling. The area is too cruddy to be a vacation spot (and there are nice spots nearby) and the beaches are gross too.
AC is dying and will be dead shortly.

That plus online gambling.
Yes. Vegas now gets less income from gambling than they do from all the other stuff...
