Land-Grant Holy Land: Ohio State to face Maryland

Awesome, I'm glad to see the Terps will be facing one of the Big Ten's best. Gives MD the opportunity to secure a significant road win.

I mentioned it in the other thread, but it probably belongs here more. I was a bit surprised the Terps got picked to play in it this year. Having no idea how these matchups are actually determined, this kind of tells me that ESPN has a lot of influence. Still, it's a great matchup for the Terps.

Also read in The Sun that they will be hosting Tulsa next season....the significance there being that Turgeon will be coaching against his former teammate, Danny Manning.

I read that three lowest RPI teams get excluded and as you mentioned, seems that it is more ESPN influenced than ACC. That said, the conspiracy theorists out there are saying no way could they have been home for this.

Nice to see a tough road game.

It should help bring some bite to the NC schedule.

interesting that the 2 new ACC teams Pitt and Cuse got home games.  It will be interesting to see if the BiG takes care of Maryland next year.

Be even more interesting if they draw dook at home. K would be absolutely livid.
