I think Atl was likely already done but just in case that coffin top was peaking up a little bit, its now been nailed shut.

Tony G kicking himself?

I know he only wanted to come back to the Falcons but I wonder if he would like to be dealt and have a chance to play on a winner in his last year?

Jason La Canfora @JasonLaCanfora 35m

Just got asked an interesting question about ATL perhaps dealing Tony G to a contender w/season spiraling. would make sense to me...

Jason La Canfora @JasonLaCanfora 34m

Wrote a column on possible deals like that earlier this week. If he and ATL willing to do it, teams like KC, BAL, NE could use him

Yes please.

No running game, a half Roddy White, and if there is no Julio...Will the real Matt Ryan please stand up. If Ryan struggles in this scenario then that ends the Flacco/Ryan who's better debate for a long time.

Why? I don't get why Ryan gets knocked down a lot if his team sucks.

Last night, DiLutis said on Twitter that the debate is now over. If he would like to defend that I'd love to see it. Ryan went 36-45 for 319 yards and 2 TD's and a lost fumble, and he did it with banged up receivers, yet that loss is on him, not the D for giving up 30 to an offensively challenged team?

That would be awesome but

A. Could we make it happen under salary cap

B. I still expect Atl to make some kind of push in a weak NFC. 9-7 might get the 2nd wildcard.

I'm not talking last night. Jones played most if not the whole game from what i saw. Was falling asleep toward the end. So I mean going forward, like Joe, he'll be challenged to have to make his team better without IMO two top ten receivers in the NFL and a stalled running game.

And he might be able to lead them to similar offensive results as Joe is with the Ravens ( better offensive talent if Jones and White are both out), but he can't help the awful D, while Joe has a pretty good D.

Atlanta should have sat White early on...let that ankle truly heal.

Julio Jones officially done for year.

And now, they are saying White has a hamstring issue and he could miss multiple games....it was the other leg from where he had the ankle issue.

They should have sat him early.

I see Gonzalez doesn't want to be dealt...but they really should deal him.

That Matthews Family Tree is pretty ridiculous.  Ryan has to be excited about the selection.

27. Roddy White barely playing football.

Hahahahahahahhaha.  Got me laughing.

That said, I watched this last night after the MLS All Star game and I can officially say I'm now ready for football.

Lemme get two claps and a Ric Flair
