Well to be fair she had no way of knowing the scorpions would suddenly be worthless.
Yep. To be clear, I'm not saying she shouldn't have brought the troops. Just think the fluctuation of troops was funny. I think the purpose was to make them look more vulnerable beforehand (during the negotiation at the gate) and then for Dany's Hitler-esque speech to look more menacing after the victory.

Stoner may have shared this exit survey, but I laughed at this line about Drogon burning the throne:
"Either he earnestly believed the pointy chair killed his mom, or he's a surprising proponent of democracy."

And this similar tweet from KVV:
#GameOfThonesFinale Hey remember when the dragon became intellectually self aware and was like “In my grief, I shall destroy the symbolic seat of power that has ruined so many, and not this scruffy soldier bro who just did a stabby stab, because I’m weary of the war wheel?” LOL.

His interpretation (which was partly his and mixed with the stated intent of the show runners) was that Dani and the Dragons had some type of telepathic connection.
That her extended long term feelings about the Iron Throne had been projected onto Drogon and when he sees her dead, he has some level of awareness that 'thing' is responsible.

I was listening to the EW podcast yesterday and the one guy was on set during the filming last year. (He has been sitting on what he knew the last 12 months.)

I think that is pretty obvious.

That EW guy Hibberd is a shill who was in the showrunner’s pocket so he wouldn’t lose his access. Misleading articles, “buying in” to Jon Snow’s death in S5, etc.
Listening to several of those podcasts, I can see that complaint. He was pretty dependable in his defenses. (Of course he also had an additional year to absorb things.)
I found his co-host to be insufferable. Odd way of talking.

Somewhat positive article about the final season, and how it did revisit previous scenes and thematic points.

I would have liked to have seen Lady Stoneheart, but man, with the makeup that would have looked gruesome on TV.

Do tell.
Huh....apparently the series is not based on Name of the Wind, taking place a generation earlier, doesn't have Kvothe at all, and has Lin-Manuel Miranda as a producer and composing music for the show. I'm officially intrigued!

I'm willing to entertain the possibility that she could warg into Drogon as well.
