Bump.
I have been, but it was almost 10 years ago at this point. Had a great time in the infield, but the year that I went it rained heavily for most of the afternoon. We had to stand in water almost up to your knees in order to place bets.
Wish I could offer up some suggestions, but my memory is a bit clouded by the weather and a few too many mint juleps.

I've never been but plan on it very soon. My Sister moved to Louisville a few years ago, and she says it's something everyone has to experience.

I try to avoid fashion commentary on days like this, because I know I don't get it. If I had a horse in the Derby I'd probably be dressed like Bill Belichek's slobbier cousin. Especially when it comes to the hats.
But good Lord I hope Beadle lost a bet.
